A warm community of people choosing simple, human lives β
away from robots, screens, and the rush of tomorrow.
Not yet, but it wonβt be long.
In a relatively short time, it will become completely normal to see robots working in bars, factories, hotels, offices, and entertainment venues β and even serving in private homes as waiters or handling cleaning and maintenance. We will increasingly share our time and our spaces with them.
While it is true that technology cannot be stopped, there is an equally real and purely human need to take a break from everything that progress demands of us.
This is why Robofree.org was created: a community that puts the human being back at the center, with nature above all else.
Robofree.org aims to establish zones that are off-limits not only to robots, but also to computers and mobile phones, and to rediscover activities that are fundamentally human β things we do with our hands, our minds, our bodies, and through the kind of sharing that defines us as a species.
We want to rediscover our capacity to create objects, to meditate, to share, to listen, and to tell stories. We are creating places where it is possible to βstay humanβ β or even to become human again β and to reconnect with a fundamental part of ourselves that risks being lost.
Whether for a day, a week, or a month, it will be possible to stay with like-minded people in our spaces, free from artificial intelligence β however advanced β and free from constant connection to the network through screens, whether on phones, televisions, or computers.
Tuscany, Italy β’ Olive groves & wooden cabins
We are starting from scratch, but we intend to go far.
The pilot project is to purchase land in the Tuscan countryside in Italy β a plot of olive trees β where we will install small wooden cabins.
We will buy the land through donations. Every contribution we receive will go toward this first step, creating a small initial seed from which we hope to grow others β two, ten, a hundred β all over the world. These will be increasingly well-equipped and active, developed in collaboration with professional artisans, farmers, holistic practitioners, yoga teachers, artists, and educators.
Donation management will be fully transparent, and donors will always be kept informed about how their contributions are used.
We stand for the preservation of purely human capacities and resources. We use only the technology necessary to stay in contact and manage our activities.
After 15 years building tech empires, I walked away from the screens and the algorithms. I wanted my children to know the sound of birds instead of notifications. I wanted to remember what my own hands could create.
RoboFree is my love letter to humanity. If you feel the same quiet ache for something real β welcome home.
